Welcome to Neuro-RNA: RNA-based Mechanisms in nervous system and disease, a neurobiology symposium co-hosted by the Departments of Cell Biology and Neurobiology at Harvard Medical School. The symposium will take place on May 29, 2013 at 1PM.

The goal of this symposium is to bring together researchers working at the intersection of RNA biology and neuroscience.  Topics will include RNA splicing, transport, local translation, technology, and non-coding RNAs in the context of nervous system development, plasticity, and disease. The Neuro-RNA symposium will include talks by two keynote speakers, Professor Robert Darnell from Rockefeller University and Professor Kelsey Martin from UCLA, and a series of 20 min talks from selected abstracts.  The symposium will be followed by a reception and a poster session open to all interested participants.  If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact us.
